The station is located on the northwest side of Main St., approximately 250 ft east-northeast of the Island Sailing Center, and approximately 80 ft north of the centerline of Bay Front Road in Chincoteague Island, VA. The monument is an NOS brass disk set in concrete 0.3 ft below the ground. The monument is 4.0 ft off the edge of Main St., and is 16.5 ft from power pole 52408 75447 and is in line with the guy wires for the power pole. |
